I went down to Alcalde NM yesterday for a fruit growers workshop. I learned about some new fruits to try growing here in Northern NM, the benefits of Acequia seepage for shallow groundwater recharge, and got to hang out with Gordon Tooley and watch him plant a tree. I hope to make it to Gordon’s nursery Tooley’s trees, Tooleystrees.com, on March 23rd (depending on the weather) for the opening of the season and pick up some trees to plant. I hope to see you there!
